Oak trees at night with a painted full moon glowing on the ocean with islands in the background.
I love peering through the trees to a beautiful background. These trees frame the mountains of the island in the distance.
Close up of the textured surface created with fine sand, medium gel and acrylic paint.
This painting was created during the Association of Visual Arts of Allan Hancock College biannual Art Show & Sale.
Located in the Santa Maria Mall, CA. My friend and I where waiting for people who had artwork showing to come pick up their artwork the day after the show was over. I brought my art supplies and decided to get some painting time in and this is what I came up with. What do you think? This is an acrylic painting using monochromatic (using only one color).
This is my BEST SELLER for Giclee Fine Art Prints!
I did a series of small paintings from 5" x 5" to 4" x 8". They all sold first their showing
During the Summer of 2007, the Zaca fire in the Los Padres Nations Forest broke loose and burned down 240,207 acres between July 4th and August 5th 2007. This acrylic painting, "Camping at Figueroa Mountain" (above) is of a quiet camping spot I used to go to with my good friends. It's about a mile hike from the last parking/camping area, called Nira. There is a hiking trails and sits right on a year round creek.
